A company seeking to transform the Australian Real Estate Market with Distributed Ledger Technology (Crypto and Blockchain).
Overview
The team at Black Tie were wanting to get their idea into a more concrete development plan. We suggested a Discovery Phase to identify the core features of their product to provide a seamless experience for real estate buyers and sellers using cryptocurrency. With an intensive discovery period, I participated in and conducted multiple workshops, interviews and shared expertise to uncover Black Tie’s vision and set into motion their platform for both selling real estate and managing crypto sales. This engagement produced valuable insights for Black Tie on how to provide seamless, secure and engaging experiences in the crypto and real estate markets.

Reflection & Reporting
This discovery phase was a lot of learning for all parties (especially myself and around blockchain and crypto markets). The different activities all ran fairly smoothly and brought up lots of discussion points amongst the stakeholders. This was also the first time I was part of such a large team of designers working on a project together. We all learnt lots from each other and brought together an amazing and highly detail set of reports and other artefacts.
After the final report Black Tie was left in a position to make some big decisions. At the time they had decided not to proceed further and were very grateful for all the work, research and reporting provided.
Due to the nature of this discovery phase, I am limited in sharing the number of produced artefacts.
