Case Study: On Boarding via TV Screen

Problem

The Paramount+ app allows for signing up to a new account via a TV screen with a simple TV remote control. There were concerns over marketing, legal and general understanding of what the user was agreeing and signing up to.

 

Solution

A/B testing revealed a great understanding with a stepped approach to give the user smaller bites of information along the process.

Case Study: Focus and Selection

Problem

The Paramount+ app on TV is sometimes difficult to determine where is the active selected focus point. There were concerns of frustrating users and accessibility issues.

 

Solution

Higher contrast and the removal of brand colours helped aid users to know where their interactions and active selection is on screen.
